After
a fire at Florida's Golden Triangle strip, Big Daddy turned
driving duties over to Connie Swingle, who piloted the above
Swamp Rat III for the rest of the 1961 season. "Officially
World's Fastest" shows the restored SR3 as it is presently
displayed at the Garlits
Museum in Ocala, Florida. To me this is the "toughest"
looking of Garlits' early machines. The brightly finished
headers and valve covers, flat grey rear wheels and bright
red Deist chute play together perfectly on this iconic racer.
Available
in three sizes on acid-free 100% cotton canvas, mounted over
custom-built wooden frame, ready for display. Custom
orders welcome!
